Jenny. Love. |
Hello. Here's a little dose of my amazing, roller coaster of a life. Get to know me, yeah? :] |
Oh my goodness, why are you so sweet?
I was 100% sure that you didn’t want anything to do with me after that day, but you talked to me right after you dropped me off and got home.
And today, you made sure that we hung out no matter what we did. You didn’t try to make any inappropriate moves on me. You took me out to dinner to my favorite place. You are such a gentleman :)
Honestly, whenever I hang out with you, I’m just in awe with how you focus all of your attention on me and not care about what others think.
I feel like we’re progressing fast one way and slow in another. You’re so respectful of me, and I really appreciate that.
So happy I got to talk to him today even though it was only for 6 minutes :)
My baby
Made ice cream in AP chem on Friday and sprinkled crushed Oreos on top. So delicious :d
Two of my favorite things <3

My neighbors are having a party and are blasting music in their backyard. “Chop Suey” by System of a Down comes on, and I run outside and start to passionately sing along (if any of you guys have seen me and Emily sing it, then you know what I’m talking about).
Right in the middle of my singing, I hear a guy next door say, “hey, do you hear someone singing?”
I quietly retreat back inside the house…and pretend that nothing happened.
a-late-day-for-regrets asked: Jenny, you are really one of the most amazing dancers I have ever seen. :)
Aww thanks Yifan :) You’re so sweet!
Anonymous asked: you kind of sound like a bitch in ur tumblr post
I kind of am a bitch.
There are a lot of things that people say about me that I just laugh off - most things actually - but this is definitely not one of them. When I told you I was offended, I really was and still am. I suppose for someone else, what you said would be no big deal, but it really stuck with me. I did not take 9 years of piano, 10 years of violin, and pass the AP Music Theory test (one of the hardest AP tests) with a 4 for you to say that I wasn’t dancing to the beat. Even my friends, who weren’t even there, said that that’s highly unlikely. I can guarantee you 100% that I hit every beat perfectly with every part of of my body.
Another thing - you diminished my dancing down to “just body rolls.” No, it was so much more complicated than that. Let’s see you dance the way I do, step by step, and see if you can keep up - see if it’s really as easy as I make it look. And even if I was dancing like the way you described it, which I definitely wasn’t, I sure as hell looked like I was having a lot more fun than you were. At least I wasn’t just slowly swaying back and forth like a tree. How I dance actually takes skill.
I am pissed off. Like I said, most things I laugh off but this is something I have worked at my whole life. No, not just keeping the beat or dancing, but music in general. Obviously it’s a big part of my life even though I don’t really make it out to be, and the fundamentals of it include simply keeping the beat. For you to say that I can’t is incredibly insulting. I now think of you just this much less.
Yay! Got my first credit card :D
Senior prom
It was fun :]
Emily, Carrie, and Jennifer came over to help me get ready. We went to the mall to get my hair and make up done, but that was a bust. The lady at the mall didn’t know how to do monolid make up, so I had to fix it at home. Then Emily curled my hair! (thanks, love!) It was her first time doing it, and it turned out wonderfully. After, we all went down to The Courtyard for pictures that Jennifer took (thank you!). Then we went to TGIF’s to have dinner where I hurt my toe :[ I got it caught in a door, and it started bleeding, but luckily I could still dance :D
I actually really didn’t want people to think that Will and I had a “thing,” so I didn’t know what was going to happen at prom - whether or not I will dance with him. But once I got there, I just decided to put that all behind me, let loose, and have fun. I guess other people saw how much fun I was having, because people are talking now ;] Yes, I danced with him, but most of the time, I danced in front of him (if that makes sense). And we danced for 3 hours straight with a few water breaks in between. By the end of the night, my legs were so dead.
After prom, Will dropped me off at Carrie’s for a sleepover, but I passed out pretty quickly.
I didn’t have the “perfect prom,” because I didn’t go with the right person, but I still had a good time and made the most out of what I had :]
This is my absolute favorite picture <3
Will post about prom later!
Anonymous asked: Oh nice! What college did you get in? And what career are you leaning towards? Totally jealous cause I didn't get in :[
Roosevelt - definitely not looking forward to the MMW’s :[
Medicine - I have always wanted to be a doctor, more specifically, a surgeon. I love working with my hands. The path to get there; however, will be such an incredibly hard one, and I didn’t realize that until this year. Very dedicated to work as hard as I can though :]
Aww! It’s okay, there is always a chance to transfer in :D
